Annmarie Thomas

I have lived in New Mexico for going on 15 years, and I do watercolor landscapes of New Mexico & the southwest, with a strong focus on rural New Mexico.  My favorite scenes include rural backroads, churches, and charming old adobes. I also enjoy photography, and many of my photos provide inspiration for my paintings.  Watercolor is my favorite medium as I do like the "unexpected" that happens often.  When possible, and weather permitting, I love to go out and do plein-air painting.  I look to other artists for inspiration as well and love to support our local artists!
